Noted actor Bruce Willis made a rare public outing in Studio City, Los Angeles, California on October 27, 2024, where he was spotted with a smile on his face. The 69-year-old star of “Die Hard” was seen in the passenger seat of a car, donning a black cap and jacket, paired with a white T-shirt, his forearm resting on the car window.

This sighting comes amidst ongoing health concerns for Willis who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2023. Willis’s ex-spouse, Demi Moore, recently noted that Willis’s condition is “stable,” while acknowledging the disease’s progression. “Being able to share with them whatever we have for however long we have it… I just feel so blessed,” Moore stated during a recent visit with Willis and their granddaughter Louetta.

Emma Heming Willis, the actor’s wife, has been candid about the family’s struggle, revealing early symptoms prior to Willis’s formal diagnosis. “His language started changing,” she disclosed, adding that their young daughters noticed his deteriorating condition. Heming Willis is slated to be honored by the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration for her advocacy efforts.

Tallulah, Willis’s daughter, described her father’s condition as “really aggressive,” while also highlighting the affection she experiences when she is with him.

In 2022, Willis retired from acting following an initial diagnosis of aphasia, which later developed into FTD. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, FTD is a form of dementia characterized by changes in personality and behavior, as well as difficulties with language skills.

Willis’s large family includes three daughters with Moore – Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30 – and two daughters with Heming Willis – Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10. Rumer, his eldest daughter, recently shared that Willis is “doing really well” and takes pleasure in spending time with his granddaughter.
