In a recent publication of her memoir named “Worthy,” Jada Pinkett Smith, the renowned actress, unveiled numerous family secrets. One of the most surprising revelations was the fact that she and her enduring partner, Will Smith, started their separation back in 2016. Yet, their public appearances always suggested them to be very close.

To advertise her book, Jada Pinkett Smith, 52, has begun making various media visits. On the popular television show Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update” segment, comedian Ego Nwodim impersonated the actress and poked fun at Pinkett Smith’s frequent presence on the Today Show in the preceding days.

During this particular episode, Michael Che, the co-host of the segment, quizzed the actress’s character about her bond with Will Smith. Ego Nwodim, as Jada Pinkett Smith, shared a funny story claiming that someone even opposed their marriage during their wedding. However, she immediately mentioned that despite numerous obstacles, she and Will Smith have shared a bond for 23 years. Adding humor to the mix, she said the key to their long-lasting marriage was to “Never go to bed happy.”

Further into their conversation, when the nature of their marriage was being discussed, Michael Che labeled it as “brutiful,” which merges the words brutal and beautiful. Responding to this, Nwodim’s version of Pinkett Smith jokingly stated that some might view their relationship as “brunhealthy.”

Jada Pinkett Smith’s character also expressed a wish to discuss the late rapper Tupac Shakur, though the host didn’t broach the subject. She added humor by mentioning the strength she feels after making her relationship’s details public.

Drawing attention back to the comments made by Will Smith on their bond, when Michael Che highlighted that Will Smith termed their relationship as “a sloppy public experiment in unconditional love,” Pinkett Smith made it clear that those were the exact words from their wedding vows.
