Cameron Diaz, recognized for her extensive acting career, recently addressed rumors about her relationship with co-star Jamie Foxx during the filming of their upcoming Netflix movie, “Back in Action.” Reuniting with Foxx after their previous work together in “Any Given Sunday” (1999) and “Annie” (2014), Diaz firmly denied any feud between them on set.

In an episode of “Lipstick on the Rim,” a podcast hosted by Molly Sims, released on Tuesday, December 19, Diaz spoke about the rumors. She expressed admiration for Foxx, describing him as an exceptional and fun individual to work with. “Jamie is the best. I love that guy so much. He’s such a special person, he’s so talented, so much fun,” she said. Diaz explained that the only notable production delay was caused by a medical incident involving Foxx towards the end of the shooting schedule, but overall, the production faced typical challenges.

While not discussing the specifics of Foxx’s health concern, Diaz confirmed his current well-being and condemned the efforts to damage his reputation. She commended Foxx for his dignified handling of the situation and shared her frustration over the attempts to undermine him.

“Back in Action” is a significant project for Diaz, marking her return to cinema after a hiatus since the 2014 movie “Annie.” The film is set to premiere in 2024 and has been a focal point of discussion in the entertainment industry, especially regarding Diaz’s comeback and her partnership with Foxx. The film, a blend of action and comedy shot primarily in London and Atlanta, is expected to enhance the celebrated careers of both actors.
