Two sisters, aged 13 and 11, were found dead in a suspected murder-suicide in Danville, California.
Evelyn and Amelia Isailovic’s bodies were discovered alongside a 44-year-old man, identified as their father Nemanja Isailovic.
The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office identified the three deceased. Their bodies were discovered with gunshot wounds on August 9th during a welfare check conducted by Danville police officers around 5:20 pm. The check was initiated after Isailovic’s ex-wife couldn’t reach them.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident’s circumstances.
A statement released on a GoFundMe page described the sisters as “bright lights in our community.” The organizer revealed that both girls loved school, had many friends, and enjoyed various activities.
The GoFundMe campaign, initiated to help cover the family’s extensive financial burdens, including funeral costs, has garnered significant support, raising over $47,000 in just three days.
