His speech ran through the people who shaped him. He thanked his late father, Percy Joseph Carrey, crediting him with lessons in love, generosity and laughter. And before he got to Min Ah, he acknowledged two more relatives seated in the audience: Jane Erin Carrey, his 38-year-old daughter, and Jackson, the grandson she has given him — telling them in French that he loves them now and forever. A Rare Public Debut for a Private Romance
It was the first time Carrey and Min Ah had appeared together as a couple in public. When the ceremony wrapped, the two were photographed holding hands — an understated image from a performer who had shielded this part of his life with unusual discipline.
Min Ah, sometimes known as Minzi, works as an actress and artist in the Los Angeles area. Cameras first caught her alongside Carrey in 2022 as the pair left a charity comedy show hosted by Judd Apatow at Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles.
