Lincoln, who gained fame for roles such as Tina Shepard in “Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood” and Linda Fairgate in “Knots Landing,” succumbed to breast cancer after a prolonged illness.
The announcement from her acting studio stated, “It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lar Park Lincoln, celebrated actress, founder of Actors Audition Studios, and America’s beloved Audition Coach.”
Born in Dallas, Texas, in 1961, Lincoln’s career spanned 45 years in Hollywood. She initially appeared in series like “Heart of the City,” “Outlaws,” and “Highway to Heaven.” Her career breakthrough came in 1987 when she was cast as Linda Fairgate in “Knots Landing” alongside Michele Lee and William Devane.
Lincoln became particularly cherished by horror film enthusiasts for her role as Tina Shepard in the 1988 movie “Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood.” Her character, known as the “ultimate final girl,” used telekinetic powers against Jason Voorhees, portrayed by Kane Hodder.
