The Kansas City Chiefs tight end arranged the event to honor both Swift’s 35th birthday and the finale of her historic Eras Tour.
Swift’s close associate Ashley Avignone reported on Instagram that Swift was under the impression she was going to a small dinner, but was actually surprised by a large gathering of friends and family.
The party, filled with multiple nods to Swift’s musical career and tour performances, was carefully planned. Notably, Kelce placed the iconic “22” hat on Swift’s head, a gesture reminiscent of Swift’s Red era performances where she would often give the fedora to an audience member.
Amanda Carlo, a professional party planner, collaborated with Kelce to ensure every detail of the celebration was executed flawlessly. Swift was both surprised and impressed by the effort Kelce put into the event, sources close to the couple reported.
Among the attendees were intimate friends and NFL pairs, including Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. Brittany opted for a sparkling silver fringe dress reminiscent of Swift’s Fearless era, while Patrick sported a suit matching the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” skit costume.
Every element of the party was meticulously prepared. Guests wore illuminated concert bracelets and exchanged friendship bracelets placed around the venue. Several individuals wore green velvet capes, mirroring those worn during Swift’s “Willow” performance in the Evermore tour segment.
The inclusion of the janitor’s cart, Swift’s unconventional transportation to the stage during her Eras Tour, added to the party’s authenticity. Committed to the theme, Kelce donned a suit from the Tortured Poets Department skit and held a makeup brush, referencing his appearance at Swift’s London concert in June.
Swift looked elegant in a $4,290 crystal-embellished Balmain black halter-neck minidress, accessorized with DeBeers diamond earrings and her signature golden hair styled in a swept-back fashion.
The party marked the end of Swift’s groundbreaking Eras Tour, which wrapped up in Vancouver on December 8, 2024, after over 150 performances across various continents. The tour set new records, with ticket sales doubling any previous concert tour’s gross earnings according to The New York Times.
