The remains of Trentin Isaac, a 16-year-old from Mansfield, Ohio, have been located in Harrison County, roughly two hours from his last known location. The confirmation was made by police officials on Tuesday.
Isaac went missing on November 12 and his body was found in Harrison County by the Harrison County game warden who was out feeding deer, on November 15, according to the Mansfield Police Department and Isaac’s mother, Amanda Craft. He was found at about a two-hour drive (approximately 100 miles) from where he was last seen. Due to the “suspicious circumstances” surrounding his death, his remains were sent to the Cuyahoga County coroner’s office for further examination.
According to Mansfield Police Chief Jason Bammann, investigative efforts are underway in collaboration with local and state authorities to obtain more information about the case. “We have more questions than answers at this point,” Bammann declared.
There have been numerous tips related to videos and social media posts that are purportedly linked to Isaac’s disappearance. However, the police have reported that none of these tips have produced substantial evidence that could assist the investigation.
The Mansfield Police Department is discouraging the public from conducting their own investigations, urging instead that any pertinent information be relayed directly to the authorities.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for Isaac’s family, describing him as beloved by many, including his parents, siblings, and extended family, as well as friends and loved ones.
No information concerning potential suspects or persons of interest has been released by the Mansfield Police, although they mentioned the possibility of multiple people being involved. The police are committed to delivering justice to those responsible for this crime.
The Mansfield Police Department is appealing to anyone with information that could assist the investigation, including potential videos, photographs, or social media content linked to Isaac’s disappearance, to contact Detective Ronee Swisher at 419-755-9432.
