Popular Actor Endorses Trump: Risks Career

At a recent event in Michigan, Zachary Levi, known for his lead role in Shazam!, voiced his support for ex-President Donald Trump. Levi, who was on the same stage with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard, recognized that endorsing Trump could be a controversial decision within the predominantly liberal Hollywood industry. Levi labelled his choice as probable “career suicide,” but asserted his readiness to back it.

“We have two choices, and I believe Donald Trump, President Trump, is the man that can get us there,” the actor stated, aligning himself with the former president for the upcoming 2024 election. He attributed his decision to the influence of Gabbard and Kennedy, noting, “He’s going to get us there because he’s going to have the backing and support and the wisdom of people like Robert Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard.”

Levi disclosed that 90 percent of the responses he received post-Trump endorsement were positive. “The messages that I received have actually been quite lovely and supportive,” he mentioned, stating that his fans’ response was encouraging, despite anticipating some industry backlash.

Prior to supporting Trump, the Shazam! star had publicly backed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for the 2024 presidential race. However, following Kennedy’s campaign suspension, Levi shifted his endorsement to Trump. Levi articulated that under ideal circumstances, he would have preferred Kennedy as the presidential candidate. “In a perfect world… perhaps I would have voted for Bobby,” Levi commented. But with Kennedy’s withdrawal, he saw Trump as the only feasible choice left to “take back this country.”

Levi expressed serious concerns about the nation’s trajectory, indicating that the country had been “hijacked” and was heading in a perilous direction. His remarks mirror a larger dissatisfaction with government and institutional power, a sentiment echoing among many conservatives and Trump supporters. Despite being rare in the entertainment industry, Levi’s political views are consistent with his public image.

In the past, Levi has been criticized for his frank views, especially on public health and government supervision. In January 2023, he triggered a social media uproar after retweeting a post questioning the reliability of Pfizer, the pharmaceutical firm that produced a COVID-19 vaccine. His agreement with the tweet, expressed as “Hardcore agree,” resulted in considerable backlash.

During the Michigan event, Levi reaffirmed his skepticism toward the pharmaceutical industry and mainstream media. He emphasized that Americans are “being poisoned and lied to” by entities controlling the media and government narrative. He voiced his annoyance with perceived manipulation through food, pharmaceuticals, and media, urging citizens to stay alert.

“We are being poisoned and lied to, not just in the foods that we’re eating or the pharmaceuticals that are being shoved down our throats, but in the media that we’re consuming,” Levi added, arguing that the public is being misinformed on multiple levels.

Levi’s final advice to his followers was to steer clear of political hostility and negativity. “Do not be baited into their hate,” he warned, implying that divisive tactics only exacerbate national polarization. He urged his audience to focus on patience, grace, and forgiveness as the 2024 election approaches.

Levi, being one of the few high-profile figures in the entertainment industry to openly endorse Trump, stands out among his colleagues. Whether his “career suicide” prediction transpires remains uncertain, but Levi seems unfazed, standing firm on his choice and encouraging others to vote according to their beliefs.
