Adriana Vieira, a 31-year-old Brazilian model and OnlyFans content creator, was discovered dead in a harbor in Miami, Florida on September 22. Vieira was last seen swimming in the harbor following a party on a rapper’s yacht.
The office of the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner said “One of the patrons (on the yacht) spotted jellyfish in the water and warned those who were in the water to get out. The decedent opted to stay in the water. She did several flips in the water and then dove underneath the surface headfirst. She never resurfaced.”
The autopsy report showed that the cause of death was accidental drowning.
Known by her online alias, LadyRichForever, Vieira’s death is currently under investigation by local authorities. The day prior to her body being found, she shared a chilling final image of two women in bikinis on a yacht, with a bottle of champagne in the foreground.
Vieira was a well-known figure in the adult content industry, providing material on OnlyFans through a $14 monthly subscription model. Besides her OnlyFans career, she was a model and dancer and took part in Miami Swim Week the previous year.
In the wake of her daughter’s untimely death, Antonia de Lourdes Vieira, Adriana’s mother, is appealing for assistance in both the investigation and the repatriation of her daughter’s body to Brazil.
“I want my daughter’s death to be investigated and need help to bring her body back,” Antonia de Lourdes Vieira expressed to the Brazilian press. “I don’t know how long I have until she’s buried in a pauper’s grave.”
Originally from Sao Paulo, Vieira relocated to Florida two years back with her spouse, Roberto Tesario. Despite sharing photos of their luxurious lifestyle on social media, Tesario reportedly returned to Brazil soon after their move, leaving Vieira to care for their six-year-old son alone.
The identity of the rapper who hosted the yacht party remains undisclosed by the authorities. The death of Vieira has prompted questions about the process of repatriating bodies from the United States to Brazil. The process, typically managed by international repatriation services, involves multiple steps, including the preparation of the body, coffin selection, and procurement of necessary documentation.
As per BE Assistance, a company that specializes in repatriation services, it typically takes 5-10 working days to return a body to Brazil once it is released by local authorities. The required documents for this process include the original death certificates, the deceased’s passport, permissions for burial and travel, an embalming report, and a non-contagious disease certificate.
While the investigation into Vieira’s death is ongoing, no specific details about how she ended up dead in the water have been released. The concerns raised by her mother about a possible pauper’s burial underscore the complications and time-sensitive nature of international repatriation processes.
