Harry Savage, a 26-year-old ex-drama student and reality television personality, was discovered dead at his residence in Putney, located in southwest London, on July 19, 2024. Paramedics arrived at approximately 9:15 a.m., but Savage was declared dead at the scene.

Savage gained public attention due to his participation in the 2019 season of Channel 4’s “Hunted,” where he starred alongside his brother, Frank.

A man in his 30s has been arrested in relation to Savage’s death, which is being treated as “unexpected” by the police. The individual has been released on bail while investigations continue.

A post-mortem examination is underway, along with toxicology tests to establish the cause of Savage’s death.

The 2019 show “Hunted” featured contestants on the run, trying to elude a team of professional trackers. Savage competed with his elder brother, Frank. The brothers shared their personal tragedies during the show, revealing that their mother had recently died from dementia, and their father had succumbed to a heart attack when Harry was only 15 years old.

During the show, Harry was apprehended on the 24th day in the city center of Birmingham, while Frank was captured shortly before the thrilling helicopter extraction finale, which could have earned him the prize of approximately $130,000.

At the time of his death, Savage was employed as the head of partnerships at the dating platform “Thursday.” His employer paid homage to him, emphasizing his vibrant energy, positivity, and lively personality. The company expressed its deep sorrow on LinkedIn, stating, “It is with great sadness that we share news of the tragic and unexpected passing of our dear friend and Thursday colleague, Harry Savage.”

Friends and colleagues have offered tribute to Savage, describing him as a “beautiful soul” and a “sweet angel.” One friend wrote, “What a sad day. RIP Harry Savage. One of the most beautiful souls on this earth. Rest well sweet angel.”

Earlier this year, the Savage family was involved in a legal dispute with their uncle over a family farm in Sussex, worth approximately $1.3 million, that had been in the family for three generations. Harry’s brother Frank successfully defended the farm, which is now co-owned by him and his three siblings. This legal battle added to the family’s series of challenges following the death of both parents.

The investigation into Savage’s death continues, with the police providing support to his family.

The unexpected death of Savage has led to a public outpouring of grief and remembrance. Friends, family, and fans continue to post tributes and share memories, honoring Savage’s life and his influence on those who knew him.
