An accident claimed the life of a Bronx, New York City man on Monday, November 6, 2023. Francisco Lumbreras, the victim, was engaged in maintenance work inside a cement mixing truck when he was caught and killed by the vehicle’s rotating shaft.
The tragic event occurred at a construction site in the Hunts Point neighborhood of the Bronx. The police were notified and arrived at the scene following the report of the incident.
Emergency teams reached the site to find Lumbreras, 46, ensnared in the truck’s machinery. Despite all rescue efforts, he was ultimately declared dead at the scene.
