Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, and his former partner Grimes, the innovative Canadian musician, recently announced the birth of their third child. The announcement was made ahead of a biography that was released on September 12, authored by journalist Walter Isaacson. The name chosen for their newborn is Techno Mechanicus, with a nickname of “Tau.”
The duo has always been in the media’s eye, partly due to their influential careers and partly because of their unconventional choices, especially when it comes to naming their children. On May 4, 2020, they introduced their son to the world with the unique name X Æ A-12. This was later modified to X Æ A-Xii, and he goes by the moniker “X.” Their second child, a daughter, is named Exa Dark Sideræl, or “Y”.
Their third child further adds to the couple’s compelling narrative. Their relationship has often been discussed in the public sphere, with their commitment and growing family being the focal points.
While the family’s private life remains of significant interest, both Grimes and Musk continue to excel in their respective fields. Grimes enthralls her audience with groundbreaking music, and Musk is pioneering the future with his ventures into space exploration and electric vehicles.
Given the names of their first two children, “X” and “Y”, some might have anticipated “Z” for the third. However, those familiar with Musk and Grimes wouldn’t expect anything less than the unexpected.
