On Thursday, August 17, a man was killed after falling from the Deutsche Bank Center located in New York City.

Police have reported that he fell approximately 750 feet, landing on the marquee of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel situated in Columbus Circle’s Billionaire’s Row.

The severity of the impact resulted in the man’s body being severed, with parts found across the nearby street.

The area was found scattered with glass and debris from the marquee. The man was wearing pajamas.

Initial information from an anonymous building worker indicates the man might have been a resident of the Deutsche Bank Center. The worker mentioned the possibility of the man using the service elevator to reach the building’s top. Police continue their inquiries to ascertain the man’s identity and verify his residence status.

The Deutsche Bank Center is renowned for its luxury apartments, which are priced between $5 million and $19 million. It has been home to several high-profile individuals, including Jay-Z, Tom Brady, and Joe Ricketts.
