In a residence near downtown San Jose, California, a six-year-old boy and his great-grandmother were found with fatal stab injuries.
The San Jose Police Department came across the tragic scene during a welfare check on Friday, August 4 at around 10:00 am.
Medical personnel on the scene confirmed that both victims had passed away due to their injuries, as mentioned in the police report. While the police have not officially identified the victims, family members have named the boy as Jordan Cam Walker. The family has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for the funeral expenses.
Jordan was recognized in his community for his enthusiasm for activities like swimming, baseball, and basketball. Sgt. Steve Aponte from the San Jose Police commented on the incident, describing it as “startling and unfortunate.”
The police are currently investigating the matter and have not released information about potential suspects.
