A 25-year-old man has been indicted for allegedly killing his 26-year-old pregnant neighbor in Hamilton County, Ohio.

According to a press release from the Hamilton County District Attorney’s Office, on July 6, Isis Roseman and her younger sibling were engaged in laser pointer play in their yard when Tyrone Hunter approached and initiated a dispute over the activity. Hunter reportedly made threats towards Roseman’s residence before departing.

Later, Hunter returned and discharged his firearm at the house. Despite the family’s efforts to find shelter inside, Roseman was struck and succumbed to her injuries. The bullet went through a window and hit her. The county coroner later confirmed that Roseman was in the second trimester of pregnancy.

Following a grand jury decision, Hunter has been indicted on multiple charges, including assault, murder, and discharging a firearm into a residence. It was disclosed that at the time of the incident, Hunter was out on bond for prior offenses, including two violent felonies and a drug-related crime.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Melissa Powers commented on the bond situation, emphasizing the importance of public safety and accountability.

Hunter surrendered to authorities on July 24 after an arrest warrant was issued. He is currently detained with a bond set at $1 million.

During the initial court proceedings, Attorney Clyde Bennett, representing Hunter, maintained his client’s innocence and emphasized the state’s responsibility to substantiate the charges.
