Harry and Meghan Face Lawsuit From YouTube Star

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are potentially facing legal action after featuring an image of a YouTuber in a documentary series about their lives.

The series stated that the majority of adverse online remarks about the couple were generated by a small number of accounts and used a YouTuber named Shallon Lester’s image as an illustrative example.

Lester, recognized for her video commentary on Harry and Markle’s relationship, recently made her displeasure known about the use of her picture. In a newly released video, she elaborated on her plans to initiate legal proceedings alleging defamation, slander, and misrepresentation. Lester maintains that the pair fails to acknowledge public disapproval, especially from those who, like herself, perceive Meghan as manipulative. While she did not provide explicit information about a potential lawsuit, Lester also touched on the controversy surrounding Markle’s podcast show “Archetype” on Spotify.

Podnews.net has implied that sections of the podcast were executed by other team members, with Markle’s voice and questions spliced in later via editing. These implications were seemingly confirmed by Bill Simmons, a senior podcast executive at Spotify, who described the couple as “grifters.”

The CEO of United Talent Agency, Jeremy Zimmer, critiqued Markle’s talent at the Cannes Lions advertising festival. He discussed the termination of the podcast, underscoring that notoriety doesn’t necessarily mean proficiency.
