3 Killed, 14 Injured in Greyhound Bus Accident-

Three people were killed and 14 seriously injured in a collision involving a Greyhound bus and stationary commercial vehicles on an exit ramp of Illinois’ Interstate 70.

According to the Illinois State Police, the accident occurred at approximately 1:54 am on Wednesday, July 12 at the Silver Lake Rest Area in Madison County, with the Police’s Troop 8 unit responding. While four victims were airlifted for immediate medical attention, another ten were transferred to the hospital via ambulance. 

The bus was confirmed to be en route from Indianapolis to St. Louis. 

Greyhound expressed their concern for their passengers’ and driver’s safety, as several of them were hospitalized. Illinois police identified the three victims as Juan Vasquez-Rodriguez, 34, Buford Paya, 71, and Bradley Donovan, 47.
