Tucker Carlson Offered $100M For New Show

If you thought Fox’s termination was the end of Tucker Carlson, you were wrong; he was just offered tons of cash to join Valuetainment.

Valuetainment Television made a $100 million job offer to the former Fox News host on May 2, 2023. The offer comprises $100 million over five years, ownership shares, and the company’s presidency with a voice in decision-making. This is a substantial increase from Carlson’s previous contract, but the offer faces a significant problem. Technically, Carlson is still under contract with News Corp, and the episodes of his popular news program are all part of the archive.

Carlson has developed a loyal following over the years he has been at Fox, making him one of the most important voices in news media.

Valuetainment Television’s President, Patrick Bet-David, publicly invited the popular conservative pundit to join the company in an open letter on Twitter. In addition to the generous monetary offer, Carlson would have his podcast, weekly or daily programming, and movies and documentaries.

Bet-David explained his reasons for the $100 million offer during his Tuesday appearance on Megyn Kelly’s podcast. He believed that Carlson’s voice was one of the most important in the country and that Valuetainment was the right fit for him. Bet-David said that other media companies making offers to Carlson were bigger but not necessarily better. He explained that his company has a vision and a cause and truly believes in America’s greatness.

Valuetainment released a statement saying they had the platform for Carlson to speak freely and honestly, with millions of subscribers on YouTube and over 10 million followers on the rest of their social media platforms.

Many media companies have expressed interest in hiring Carlson since his departure from Fox News, including One America News and The Heritage Foundation. Newsmax offered him control over the programming of his show.
