A 14-year-old girl in Louisiana is recovering from a gunshot wound after a man opened fire at children playing hide-and-seek on his property.
David Boyle, 58, was arrested for allegedly shooting at the children outside his home. The incident took place on May 7 in the Starks neighborhood. Boyle claimed to have seen shadows outside his house before getting his gun and firing at the individuals he saw running away, accidentally hitting the girl.
Boyle has been charged with several offenses, including four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, aggravated battery, and illegal firearm discharge.
