A weird moment in the “Wheel of Fortune” game show happened when host Pat Sajak tackled one of the contestants during an episode aired on Tuesday, March 21.

The contestant, Fred Jackson, had revealed at the beginning of the Hawaiian-themed episode that he was a drama teacher, a bar trivia host, and a professional wrestler.

Jackson said he gets paid little to nothing for his wrestling gigs and mainly does the sport for fun, which is what might have prompted the bizarre incident at the end of the game show.

The 76-year-old TV legend, Pat Sajak, rushed over to Jackson and placed Jackson in an arm lock and a headlock. Jackson appeared to cry out in pain for the cameras.

The game show posted a clip of Jackson on their Instagram account showing him solving a puzzle phrase which wins him an additional $40,000, making his total winnings $75,800.

After his incredible victory, Jackson, overcome with joy, hugs his father, who is on stage, before Sajak comes into the camera frame and tackles him.

Throughout the night, Sajak’s comments led up to that moment as he continuously poked fun at Jackson for being a wrestler.

At one point, Sajak called Jackson a “brute” and asked the other players if they would want to body slam the wrestler.

Fans of the show were quick to point out that the moment between Sajak and the contestant was weird, with one fan asking what was with Sajak at the end of the show.

Another wrote that it was not only a perfect game but another strange showdown between Sajak and a player.

Another seemed worried about the host, telling him to be careful not to fall.

Other fans found the incident entertaining, with one viewer saying it was a good show and the ending funny and a second viewer saying it was fun to watch.

It is not the first time Sajak has had a bizarre encounter with contestants. Two weeks ago, he pulled a man’s beard.

Sajak has been hosting The Wheel of Fortune since 1981. He’s had to come up with 42 years worth of ideas to spice up the show.
