On February 26, a naked woman barged into a home in Austinville, Virginia, and repeatedly hit the shocked male homeowner with a frying pan.
Paula Michelle Locklear, 35, has been identified as the suspect.
According to reports, the house’s owner checked out some noise he heard coming from the back of his house. He discovered a naked woman who had entered through the back door of his house. He claimed to have never met the woman before.
The suspect then started hitting the man on the head and on his hand with a cast iron frying pan.
The homeowner tried to get rid of the intruder before attempting to secure his home. Locklear then proceeded to cause further damage to the back porch. She tripped the breakers in the house and smashed the kitchen windows and door. She also threatened to kill the man if he did not leave “her” house.
After having enough of the drama, the homeowner pulled out his gun and shot Locklear in the leg.
Locklear was found with a gunshot wound by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. Emergency personnel rushed her to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The homeowner was not charged with a crime because investigators determined that he acted in self-defense.
Locklear was arrested and held in the Carroll County jail without bond pending her arraignment. She faces felony charges of armed breaking and entering, assault and battery, and intentional property damage.
