A woman died after falling from Disneyland’s seven-story Mickey and Friends parking garage in California.

Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Jon McClintock said they received a 911 call around 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, about a person who had either fallen or jumped at a parking structure in Disneyland.

Officers responded quickly and went to the Mickey and Friends parking garage, where visitors to the Southern California park leave their vehicles, where they discovered a woman on the ground.

First responders gave the woman first aid and CPR before rushing her to the hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.

Anaheim police said they are investigating the incident, which is the second in a matter of months, and it is unclear what led up to it.

A bomb squad was called to the scene about an hour after the woman fell, to investigate an abandoned bag near the bottom of the garage, according to one tweet.

It’s also unclear whether the woman was pushed out of the building, died by accident, or committed suicide.

Authorities have not made any public statements about the woman, including her name or age.

It is not the first time that someone has died in this parking garage, which was the largest parking structure in the world when it opened in 2000, holding over 10,000 vehicles.

A 51-year-old man, later identified as an elementary school principal and the son of a well-known Disney musical director, committed suicide at the parking structure in December 2022.

Chris Christensen, the Principal of Huntington Beach William T. Newland Elementary School, jumped to his death in front of park visitors, including young children.

The man posted a suicide note on Facebook, claiming that his wife had falsely accused him of domestic violence and called the police, causing him to be placed on administrative leave, which he wasn’t happy with.
