A new lawsuit was filed in a New York court on Monday, January 30, against musician Marilyn Manson, 54, accusing him of sexually assaulting a minor and grooming her, sexual battery, molestation, and assault back in the 1990s.

The lawsuit also alleges that two of his record labels, Interscope and Nothing Records, protected and promoted the musician while profiting from his conduct.

In the lawsuit, Jane Doe, listed as the plaintiff, alleges that Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, raped her in his tour bus after a concert in 1995 when she was just 16 years old. It also says that Manson told her to keep quiet about it or he would kill her and her family.

A few weeks later, Manson demanded that she send him nude pictures of her and invited her to another concert in New Orleans, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Manson is accused of continually sexually assaulting the teen when she was 19 and had moved to Los Angeles. The suit alleges that the plaintiff turned to drugs and alcohol to cope with the trauma from the sexual abuse she endured from the musician.

The lawsuit alleges that Manson groomed her by purposefully and intentionally laying the groundwork needed to control and intimidate her as an impressionable child.

The teenager also attended another Manson tour in 1999, during which he continuously assaulted her and often coerced her to have sex with not only him but other band members simultaneously while also giving her drugs.

Manson’s attorney, Howard King, said the allegations made against the musician in the lawsuit were all lies and that his client would not submit to the “shakedown.”

In a statement released by attorney King, he said that Manson had no recollection of the plaintiff or ever meeting her and that he had never been intimate with her. The statement also accused the plaintiff of telling her lies on podcasts and tabloids for the past two years.

The plaintiff’s attorneys said that Manson and his promoters gave children posters with symbols of sexual assault, violence, and Satan and that one of his fliers said he was “the pedophile’s dream.”

The lawsuit also accused the two record labels of negligence, claiming they knew or should have known that Manson was engaging in sexual misconduct with minors.

In 2021, Manson was accused of sexual violence and grooming a minor by his ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood. Wood claimed that the musician groomed and abused her for many years since she was a teenager.

That same year, three similar lawsuits were filed against him.

Manson has denied all the allegations.
