Melania Trump, 52, former fashion model and ex-First Lady of the United States, was reportedly very concerned about visitors entering the private residence in the White House without her being told in advance.

She did not appreciate having her privacy invaded by people like Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, who often came to the residence unannounced, and whom she considered to be bad advisors to her husband in the last months of his presidential term.

She also didn’t feel comfortable about the idea of Giuliani seeing her in her bathrobe.

Her feelings were shared with her former Chief of Staff, Stephanie Grisham, who revealed the First Lady’s concerns to the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 Capitol riot.

In a transcript released by the House Committee panel, Grisham said during her testimony in May 2022 that Melania hated when she didn’t get a heads up about people visiting the residence. She said the residential areas of the White House were Melania’s private home and she felt her privacy was invaded. Melania told Grisham that there were always people meeting in the Yellow Oval, a room in the residence, toward the end of Trump’s presidency.

According to the House transcript, Melania told Grisham that no one told her when people would be coming to the residence and she was afraid of being caught “not dressed for company.”

Grisham said that Melania criticized Trump’s Chief of Staff, Mark Meadows, for what she felt was his failure to give her husband good advice during Trump’s last months as president. Grisham said she was surprised that Melania did not speak up about Trump’s claims about election fraud, hinting that Melania didn’t approve of the election fraud lies.

The former aide said Melania was distrustful of a bunch of people, including Jenna Ellis, Rudy Giuliani, and Sidney Powell. She phoned Ronna McDaniel, the Republican National Committee Chair, several times to ask where Trump was in the polls because she did not trust the campaign staff to give her and her husband the correct information.
