No stranger to experimenting with new fashion styles, Brad Pitt, clad in a teal knit top with a lime green linen jacket and baggy pants, walked with confidence on the red carpet at the premiere for his new film, Bullet Train, in Los Angeles.

The 58-year-old actor looked handsome and cheerful at the premiere, held at the Regency Village Theater on Monday.

He posed for photographers with co-stars and others.

The actor told an Entertainment Tonight reporter that he was just trying to have some fun with his fashion while promoting the action comedy film.

Pitt has been traveling the last few weeks, promoting international premieres for the new film. He was in London, Paris and Berlin in mid-July on a three day trip. In Paris, he wore a look similar to the lime green LA one, but in a peach color.

In Berlin, he was a big hit on social media and in the press with his outfit, with included a linen skirt. When asked by an Associated Press reporter about his choice of wearing a skirt, Pitt replied with a smile, “The breeze, the breeze.”

The film, Bullet Train, is based on a 2010 novel, Maria Beetle, by Kōtarō Isaka. Pitt stars as an assassin who wants to quit the killing business, but is pushed into another job by his handler, played by Sandra Bullock.

The film features Pitt, Joey King, and Sandra Bullock, among others.

Pitt’s action comedy, Bullet Train, will hit theaters August 5.
